Stop the SexyBookmarks NagWare in WP-Admin

With the latest release of the WordPress plugin Sexybookmarks, came a super annoying drop down advert/nag-ware to download the Shareaholic browser extension.

It’s been a huge trend lately for developers or publishers to try and sneak this crap into free software (even some paid apps). All I have to say to those who do, stop it! There is nothing that anger’s me more than spyware/adware/nagware. Not to mention having to fix it for people who don’t know any better. Find another way that doesn’t interfere with the user’s experience. Otherwise, people will just “put up with” your software just until they find something that doesn’t try to molest them and their computer.
