Missing FFmpeg *.ffpreset files [SOLVED]
upon trying to get ClipBucket to upload and convert a video properly it kept failing. Ultimately the FFmpeg presets files (*.ffpreset) were missing. This being really the first time I’d ever used ffmpeg, I was searching with a blind fold on. After a while I finally found out that I was missing the majority of the .ffpreset files on my server.

It’s been a huge trend lately for developers or publishers to try and sneak this crap into free software (even some paid apps). All I have to say to those who do, stop it! There is nothing that anger’s me more than spyware/adware/nagware. Not to mention having to fix it for people who don’t know any better. Find another way that doesn’t interfere with the user’s experience. Otherwise, people will just “put up with” your software just until they find something that doesn’t try to molest them and their computer.
