Looks like the second and final beta of Ubuntu Lucid Lynx has hit the cloud.  Go to www.ubuntu.com and get the lastest ISO and test it out.  I’ve already found it to be more stable than the previous Beta 1 release.  Well, within ESXi anyways.  Previously the VMware Tools had issues with the video. But then again, who wasn’t having issues with their video in Lucid?  I’m sure anyone with an nVidia video card can relate.

About a week ago I picked up a quick little guide from one of my syndicated publishers on “How to configure Nvidia Drivers in Lucid Lynx“.  And ever since then it’s been filling my gAnalytics logs like crazy.  If it weren’t for my CS4 in Wine guide getting picked up on StumbleUpon, it would have easy topped everything else.

Enough about that however, I put up a stupid little recording of the new installer in Beta 2.  It’s nothing too life changing, but to save you some time of actually having to install it to see it you can see it below or within my horribly basic and nearly useless youtube channel.

Check out page two below if you wanna read the updated notes from Ubuntu on changes, bugs and other misc release information.
